Self Catering Accommodation

Here at the farm we have four self catering units, all enjoy views of the surrounding countryside and are well equipped for your break with us, whether it is for the farm, the sea or moor!


All accommodation has use of a lawn and patio area, with seating and BBQ. There is ample parking for vehicles and a boat or trailer can be accommodated if required. All units are non smoking and we regret that we cannot accept pets. 


Bed linen and towels are provided and travel cot and highchair are available on request. Keys are collected from the main farmhouse on arrival, with check in from 3pm on the day of arrival.

Sleeps 2. One double bedroom.
Forge Cottage is a first floor detached apartment close to the main farmhouse. Open plan kitchen, living, diner and private balcony seating area. Double bedroom and separate full bathroom.

Sleeps 4. One double bedroom, one twin bedroom
Meadow View is a first floor apartment adjoining the main farmhouse. Separate kitchen, with lounge, diner. Double bedroom leading to twin bedded room and full bathroom.

Sleeps 2. One double bedroom. (Plus sofa bed in living area)
The Old Piggery is a newly converted single storey detached barn adjacent to the Cob Barn. Located on the ground floor is an open plan kitchen, living and dining area and one double bedroom with en-suite shower room.

Sleeps 4. One double bedroom, one twin bedroom
The Cob Barn is a newly converted two storey detached barn adjacent to the Old Piggery. The ground floor has an open plan kitchen, living, diner, twin bedroom and separate shower room. Upstairs is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.


Children will love the farm animals which include sheep, kunekune pigs, miniature Shetland ponies, free range chickens and goats. Wander the narrow streets of Shaldon, Smuggler’s Cove beach, play a round of pitch and putt or have a bite to eat in one of the many pubs. Shaldon is located on the South West Coastal Path, a 630-mile journey with beautiful views, allowing walkers to enjoy any part of the route. Both Dartmoor National Park and Exeter are only 20 minutes’ drive away, whilst the famous south Devon coast, with wonderful sandy beaches, is 1 mile away.

Exeter and Newton Abbot racecourses, several golf courses, lots of family theme parks, Paignton Zoo, sailing and fishing can all be found within easy reach. Numerous National Trust properties are close by, including Agatha Christie’s Greenway. Steam trains travel from Kingswear to Paignton, and Totnes to Buckfastleigh. Visit historic Dartmouth, with its bustling boat harbour and a castle, or Salcombe with its beaches and sailing. Kent’s Cavern, Model Village and Shaldon Zoo, and of course many tea shops, all serving Devon cream teas, can be found within easy reach. You can enjoy water sports, horse riding, golf and nature reserves, all close by. Take a trip from Torquay harbour to Brixham by boat, or visit the theatre in Torquay.
